Tuesday, April 22 Sophomores will be Core Testing. Test starts at 7:30 am. Juniors and Seniors will have an online school day and remain at home. All students, who do not test this day, will be pulled from class to test on another day and miss instruction. Please make every effort to test on Tuesday. Busses will run on normal schedule, breakfast and lunch will be served.


Sterling Scholar Applications for the 2025-26 year due Friday, May 2. For this year's Juniors only. Applications are in office. library and with Mrs. Jensen.

MOTORCADE AT 1PM


BRHS Band is sponsoring a family dance event Saturday, March 22 in the high school commons area. This even is free to everyone, but donations are appreciated.


On March 11, ACT day for Juniors, the buses will run on the normal schedule. However, the majority of students will be done testing by 12:30 pm. No Sophomores or Seniors attend school on this day.

Participate in our BRHS chess club tournament. It is free. All skill levels welcome. Friday, February 2 starting at 4:00 pm in the library. Prizes awarded to winners. Family, friends and members of the community are invited.


Poetry Out Loud is a national competition where students compete for $20K in scholarship money and a trip to compete in Washington DC. Our school wide competition is Thursday, February 1. Student recite 2 poems chosen from the Poetry Out Loud website. All students are encouraged to participate. Talk to Margo Tackett in the library for more information.
